Mission Impossible

Today was a long work day for Sean and I at our regular paying jobs. I spent the morning gathering auction items and donations for the McDonald's Heroes-Hope-Healing Golf Classic, which took me to Point Lookout in Lincolnville Beach and The Samoset in Rockport, among other stops. Sean worked on building and repairing ramps all day. When we got home, it was time to... WORK.

Just before Sean returned home, Daddy Dale and Momma Twombly stopped by with a much appreciated gift of some wood for us. Our resident wood-stackers are going camping with their Father this weekend, but they will work on stacking it when they get back home on Monday. It is not their favorite chore, but it has to be done. And, we think it is good for them to pitch in and help where they can.

After Sean and I finished the evening chores, we decided it was time to move the 2 month old chicks to the main coop. Rufeo and 5 hens were moved into the chicken tractor in the front. I took tons of pictures and video. I will edit the footage and use it to create a short for you all sometime over the weekend. In the meantime, Miss Kimmy reminded me that I had not included our bunnies in my last update. This video only stars Brighid, but I hope you enjoy it. ♥

Have a great night, friends.

  3. Okay. You guys have heard of the book WATERSHIP DOWN, right? If not, you should read it. It's a great book. Anyway, rabbits are really good at tunneling.
The video was great. By taking the time to watch Brighid outside the cage and then going inside, I really apprciated her intelligence.
The music was a perf=ect choice to support the story line. And, of course, the editing is what made it.
    Thanks a lot, Sonja.
